- 1 cup whole oat groat soaked overnight
- 4 cups water
- pinch sea salt
- berry compote
- brown sugar
- Drain and rinse the oat grouts and transfer them to a blender. Add 4 cups of water and pinch of sea salt to the blender and pulse until the grains are coarsely ground.
- Pour into a pot and bring to a boil over high heat, whisking frequently. cover the pot, reduce the heat to low, simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, until the grains are soft and the porridge is creamy. Serve hot with desired toppings.
