- 1 whole chicken
- 4 Tbsp butter soften
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp parsley dried or fresh
- 1 tsp thyme dried or fresh
- 1 tsp oregano dried or fresh
optional:
- carrots chopped
- celery chopped
- onion chopped
- lemon sliced in half
In a bowl add all the ingredients minus the chicken and mix together.
Add the chicken to a roasting pan and lather the butter herb mixture over chicken
Optional ingredients can be stuffed in the chicken cavity, or on the bottom of the pan.
In a preheated oven of 375F cook chicken for 1 hour. Internal temp should be 160 degrees.
