Filling Ingredients

  • 1 lbs ground beef
  • 1/4 cup carrots chopped
  • 1/4 cup peas
  • 1/4 cup corn
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 stalks celery chopped
  • 2 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp coriander

Cauliflower Mash

  • 1 whole cauliflower chopped
  • 2 Tbsp butter melted
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • salt to taste

Instructions

Filling Instructions

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sauté onions, carrots, and celery for about two to three minutes.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned. Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, parsley, and coriander.
  • Add tomato paste and sauce. Cook for about 5 minutes. Then add peas and corn.

Mash Instructions

  • Boil cauliflower until soft.
  • drain and layout on a towel to dry off.
  • In a bowl mash cauliflower until well incorporated. Add melted butter, sour cream, and salt. Mix well until you get desired consistency.

Cottage Pie Instructions

  • In a baking dish add meat filling to the bottom and top with cauliflower mash. Bake in a preheated 375 degrees oven for about 25-35 minutes or until dish is bubbling and top is browned up. Serve and enjoy.
